Delete application data inside the app

1. Open Book My Life and sign in.
2. Open More.
3. Select Privacy.
4. Tap Delete account.
5. Confirm the permanent deletion.

This removes the Book My Life database profile and associated journal data and signs you out. The current in-app flow does not itself delete the separate authentication identity held by Clerk.

Submit a complete deletion request on the web

To request deletion of both your Book My Life application data and your Clerk authentication identity, email the address below from the email associated with your account. Use the subject “Book My Life complete deletion request”. We may ask you to verify account ownership before processing the request.

What will be deleted

A complete deletion request covers your Book My Life database profile, Clerk authentication identity, journal entries, photos, videos, audio, transcripts, drawings, generated book PDFs, covers, and generated assets from live application storage where applicable.

What may be retained

Limited information may be retained when required for legal compliance, billing records, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or backup integrity. App-store purchase records remain subject to Google Play or Apple retention policies. Deletion cannot be reversed after processing.
